	Rail System: Full length stainless steel side rails feature integrated push-pull handles with latch releases located at all four corners of the stretcher. Easy one-handed operation. No hinges, mechanical connections or plastic couplings to trap debris or fluid. Easy to wipe clean and disinfect in the ongoing battle with germs and bacteria.		Center Column Support Sturdy solid steel column with single hydraulic cylinder design uses sixteen precision ball-bearings to smoothly raise and lower the patient.
	Pneumatic assist positioning Mounted at the foot end of the stretcher, the unique Hand Control Trendelenburg with pneumatic assist easily moves from horizontal to positive or reverse positions.		Casters 8" Precision casters make the 550/555 Stretcher easy to maneuver - even on carpet. Casters feature central lock and steering control from all four corners. 5th wheel steering is also available as an additional option.
	Hands-Free Height Adjustment Hands-free hydraulic height adjustment is smooth and easy. The optional Dual Hydraulic Control mechanism adds another height control lever at the head end.


Side Rail Latch Release Integrated hand latch release provides convenient one-handed access from all four corners of the stretcher. Pull the latch and the Glide-Tuck side rails lower into position under the litter top..	IV Caddy Optional IV caddy allows for hands-free IV pole transport. The IV Caddy attaches directly to the frame and stores under the litter top when not in use.	Fold Down IV Pole Available as an option, the fold down IV pole tucks out of the way when not needed and remains attached to the stretcher when in use.
